Happy Birthday
Show me your directory!

Sat Nov 20, 2010 11:46 pm by ladyhihi

Conversely, there are a large number of members here who have websites that would like to submit them to as many directories as they can. So, why not bring the two together in one thread?

If you have a directory and want to list it here …

So how many lifebirds have you captured?

Sat Nov 20, 2010 11:48 pm by ladyhihi

As one adds more lifers in the field, you can modify your tally sheet to reflect the new additions. This way, we can have an idea how hopeless a birdnut each of us has become.

Birdnuts in Action

Sat Nov 20, 2010 11:51 pm by ladyhihi

Folks, we haven't done this thread in a while - let's see your images of birdnuts in action!

Please post only those photos that aren't posted at PBPF yet. Don't post photos that aren't yours, nor those that might be "embarassing" to fellow birdnuts (like my and Bobby K.'s Olango pics in our birthday suits ). A brief description of the shot would add more interest.

How's everyone! project

Sat Nov 20, 2010 11:51 pm by ladyhihi

No this is not a message from the grave. Still very much alive.

Been sometime. New job (same company). Been traveling. Lots of work. Miss you guys.

But also have a new project that I've been busy with over weekends. Thought it's about time I shared it with my good friends here.

No that's not a photo of some fossilized bird.

It's actually a boat I'm building with my son.

She'll be a …

Oil Spill in Pagudpud

Sat Nov 20, 2010 11:50 pm by ladyhihi

I was supposed to include this as my next post in the thread "Birding in Ilocos," but I have decided against it. I suddenly remember that Doc Pete Calope would be disseminating to his friends and networks that thread to promote birdwatching, this news might not jibe with the message he wants to relay. But nevertheless, I am posting it here so everybody will be aware of what happened and …

I hope this is the right place for this question.
I've been running an Adwords campaign for a month and am now looking at refining it to make it more efficient with the data I have collected.
My question is what is best practice for bidding on phrase and exact match.
Lets say my keyword is "sausages". The majority of my sales from looking in GA from from the keywords …

The Westboro Baptist Church is coming

Thu Nov 18, 2010 11:00 am by ladyhihi

They're staying in the Bay Area for two days starting tomorrow morning. They'll be at Stanford Friday morning, so I get a front row seat to the lovely Shirley Phelps and their everso friendly Kansas family and friends. They're also picketing the nearby high school that had a spate of suicides last year (three) before graduation for promoting gay and liberal education, or something like that.

AT LAST: remake of The Wizard of Oz starring Robert Downey!

Thu Nov 18, 2010 10:59 am by ladyhihi

While Disney topper Rich Ross and production president Sean Bailey have been beating the drum on both coasts for Tron: Legacy and Tangled, they have just solidified their next 3D event-sized family film followup to Alice in Wonderland. The studio has received a commitment from director Sam Raimi to Oz: The Great And Powerful as his next film. Raimi had become attached to Oz in June, with the …
